Each bar of soap is cooked, cut and lovingly hand felted by local Bristol artisan Lisa Woods. Note the unique and thoughtfully balanced fragrance combinations which promise novel sensory experiences whether you chose your go-to fragrances or are feeling adventurous! Wrapping hot-process soap in a layer of pure merino wool creates a built in washcloth that shrinks around the soap as it is used. This is a favourite for the clumsier individuals and can be especially useful for arthritic individuals as the felt provides additional grip while making the soap look fabulous! If you are now concerned about mouldy soap, let me put your mind at ease! Merino wool was purposefully selected to improve your experience since it is prized for its odour-resistant, moisture-wicking and breathable characteristics and natural antimicrobial properties. To simplify, the wool is superb at moisture management, making bacterial growth impossible. Not only does the felt add a burst of colour and grip, merino wool has very fine fibres so this soap provides soft exfoliating action. If you’re not sold yet then let me also tell you that the felt layer reduces soap wastage in the long run as it holds all of those little pieces together!
